Myths vs reality about coronavirus
Well we all are aware that all of humanity is in danger by a deadly virus. Okay, but there is a question that, is everything which we are hearing these days about the virus right? And are we confirming the source of the news about the virus, that, from where it is coming? So most people will say no, that we don't care about confirming the source we simply believe whatsoever is among the people or Whatsapp news. But is it a correct way of doing or handling things?
In my opinion no it is not the correct way because think logically that we are so afraid by the virus itself and now the fake news. Oh no, these fake news stories make things even worse. I know many people who are assuming or fantasizing about many things about the virus in their heads without any facts. But you need not worry if you are a reader of my blogs because today I will make you aware of the myths floating these days.
1. Coronavirus flies in the air
So, this is the most common myth of the people that they will get infected by the virus directly from the atmosphere, and virus floats in the air and they might inhale the virus. But no, this is not the reality. The truth is the virus doesn't travel in the air and if it does we all might have gotten infected till today.
2. Coronavirus can be transmitted through mosquito bites
Many people are thinking these days that they might get the virus if mosquitoes bite them. But this is not true, biting of a mosquito has nothing to do with the virus or its transmission. Although you should take care because you might get dengue.
3. Eating garlic and drinking alcohol can prevent COVID-19
So, this is another myth which the people have created among themselves and it is the most stupid and illogical myth. Because think logically if just by eating garlic we were able to prevent COVID-19 then why scientists and the government are wasting such a huge amount of money and effort on developing vaccines and other stuffs.
And now let's talk about this alcohol myth, so just because people want to drink alcohol and the government needs money from taxes they have allowed the sale of alcohol doesn't mean it can prevent COVID-19.
Although eating garlic can improve your immunity.
4. Only people with symptoms of COVID-19 can spread the disease
Dear readers this is something very serious I want to tell you if you are still in this darkness then please come out of this. See first thing is when a person gets infected he/she doesn't get symptoms at that instance. It takes about 10-12 days depending on the immunity of a person. But notice one thing: that the person is infected and can infect another. That's why I am suggesting you to take all the precautions which I have mentioned in my previous blog. Go and check if you haven't.
5. Only the person with symptoms should wear a mask
There are many overly intelligent people these days who have more knowledge than doctors and government officials might have suggested you not to wear a mask if you don't have symptoms but believe me this is the biggest nonsense. The mask is for your care because who is infected and who is not, is not written on anybody's face. Perhaps your family members are infected by the virus and you don't even know. So why not make wearing masks a habit till the time we are not able to develop the vaccine.
6. Anybody getting infected by the virus will die
As you can see there are recoveries also. So, guys panic less and eat well so that you can increase your immunity to fight the virus.
7. Young people will not get infected by the virus
No, no guys, this is not true. Please don't risk your life by listening or following these myths. Although the chances of recovery and power to fight the virus are greater among the young ones, saying that young ones won't get infected by the virus and we will party and will do gatherings is not right.
Because there is news that young people are not taking the virus seriously. But I will suggest you to take all the precautions even if you are a beautiful or handsome young boy or girl.
Thus, I want to tell all of you don't create unnecessary and extra panic among yourselves about the virus. Know the facts, not the myths and take care of yourself and your family.
Also, you can share this blog with your friends, family and loved ones to make them aware. Perhaps they might be unnecessarily taking tension from any of the myths listed above.
My next blog will be about things you should do and eat to improve your immunity so that you can strongly fight the virus if somehow in future you get infected by it.
Thanks:)
